I would have to agree conference was crazy awesome! We are
so blessed to have such inspired leaders. We were particularly grateful
for
Elder Bednars talk because we had an investigator
watching that talk! Our investigator had decided to take a break from
meeting with
us but he watched that talk with a member and we're meeting with him on Tuesday. Praise the Lord! :)
I did see the pictures of Aidan losing his tooth. He looks so old.
What
did Chels send me? Was it the fruit leather or was that you? I will
start sending packages home in the middle on November. I shouldn't have
that much
stuff to send but I'll be sending a lot of my study
stuff/ summer clothes home. Sounds like the mission reunion was super
awesome. I'm glad he talked a lot
about missions because they're incredible.
Speaking
of incredible we were so blessed this week! So everyday we were fed by a
member this week!!! One of the members was the member was someone
who
had let everyone know she didn't like us. But she said that she had
been humbled and explained everything that's going on. So it was a
really neat experience.
Also one of our investigators got a
blessing. She's 17 and her parents are open to us and we're pretty good
friends, but they still are a little wary of the whole
Mormon
situation. But Shelby got really really sick and so we and a couple of
priesthood brethren went to their home, and they gave her a blessing and
her parents sat in on the blessing. Afterwards the Dad was like "Wow,
Shelby I feel better for you. That was good. " It was a really powerful
blessing. My testimony of the proper priesthood authority
was for sure strengthened that day. And we potentially have a family to teach! Hopefully. :)
Yeah we had a great week. This area needs a LOT of work but I'm thankful that the Lord has blessed with miracles this week. :)
