Dear Family,
Good to hear that you had a good time in D.C. Sounds like a cool place. Jealous that you went to Lava Hot Springs and the temple in Idaho. Glad things are going well. I honestly don't remember my Skype name...or password...So yeah. I will probably just call you guys and then we can set it up. I will probably call in the evening sometime, but we haven't found a family to Skype with yet...so we're in the process. But yeah. I look forward to talking to you again!! :) Should be exciting.
This week was crazy. We went to the capital building in downtown Lincoln. It was gorgeous! Dad would have really liked it. I took a lot of pictures but it just doesn't do it justice. It's so cool. Very rich in American history. So the capital  building is super tall and you ride these really skinny elevators to the top and then there is this dome with some rockin acoustics. So we sang hymns in the middle of the dome. It was so pretty. I got almost everything on video. I'm a big fan of video logging. I think it's hilarious. :) My SD card is getting full so I will probably be sending it home soon, you'll have fun going through the videos.
So once upon a time Sister McCauley felt impressed to go see this Less Active. I have no idea why. But he answered the door. And for 5 minutes he just yelled and yelled at us. He basically told us that we were wasting 18 months of our life and that we were only doing this because it was what we grew up with. All we could do was testify and walk away. When we walked away he slammed the door and just kept yelling that we weren't saved and that we just young and knew nothing. It was kind of the worst experience ever. I sat and balled in the car for a good half and hour. We went to a members house and watched mormon.org videos and cried. Ha we're so pathetic. But we were very hurt. I was more upset that he rejected the truth. He was a life long member and he's has just completely rejected Jesus Christ. Ah man. That was horrible. But our week got much better after that..:) We still don't understand why we felt impressed to go see this guy.
We had members come out with us this week. It was amazing. This work goes so much better with members. It's exhausting doing it alone. Ha. :) It's like the prophet keeps telling us this! Weird. :)
We also had exchanges this week. They went really well. Yeah it was a good week.
We were a half and hour late for church yesterday...there was a marathon and we got stuck in traffic. Between the Elders and the members in our ward we got teased constantly for being late. Yeesh! So the Elders stuck Oreos all over car in Friday night and when we got to our car in the morning it was 80 degrees so we Oreo goo EVERYWHERE. It was hilarious cleaning that up. Any ideas on how we can get them back?? We 're thinking toothpaste and tinfoil?
Oh favorite quote from district meeting this week. "Missionary Work: If you're not laughing, you're doing it wrong." This really is a happy work. And I love every moment. That's a lie I hate doing the area book, but all is well.
Anyway. I love you all! Thanks for you love and support. Keep praying for us!

Dear Family,
Glad to hear everyone is doing well. Oh my goodness there is a TON of change going on in Morgan. They closed Steph's down?? Where am I going to get my grasshopper shakes? Oh man. We have a Pretzel Maker? Soon enough our little town will be huge. Why can't they have something cool like a movie theater or a swimming pool? Ha oh well. Sounds like you had a cool Stake Broadcast. I am kind of upset I will miss the Ogden Temple dedication open house thing. But I'm excited for it to be opened again. It's so funny that we complained about having that temple closed. And here the nearest temple is like 50 miles away. We are so spoiled in Utah.
But this week was really good. :) Sister McCauley got strep throat though and we were stuck in for 3 days. That was not fun...I got so stir crazy I made her sit on the stairs of our apartment while I ran back and forth on the street. I don't do well being cooped up. Then again I don't think anyone does.
I also had interviews with my mission president. No fear. All is well. He almost made me cry. He told me that I have grown a lot and that it's one of the most incredible changes he's ever seen. Which was super nice. But now I'm like was I weird when I first got here?? But I"m sure that's not what he meant. haha :)
We also had a lot of miracles happen this week. One we had a member up and buy us bikes. They were used bikes but still. We had been praying for bikes because they're evil when it comes to miles. Speaking of miles we had a cool experience with that as well. So we were driving our car to get it inspected and it was farther away then we had expected. So we get the car back and we have 3 miles left of our allotment. If we got over one mile then I get my driving privileges taken away. Sister McCauley had already gotten hers taken away because she went over 17 miles last transfer. We get them taken away for 2 transfers. So we were kind of freaking out a bit. So we prayed. We thought of a member who was close by. She lived exactly 3 miles away. So we get to her house and sure enough we made it without going over one mile. Then that member preceded to take us out to lunch and she brought a Less Active young lady with her. Members here are so amazing. They always go above and beyond what we ask them to do. We just asked for a ride home and we got lunch and we were able to teach a lesson. So great. One of my favorite quotes is "Only the first mile is required." Just a reminder to make sure to go the second mile when it comes to serving the Lord. :)
Anyway. So we rode bikes the rest of the week. Now I notice the rolling hills of Nebraska...
Also my bum really really hurts. But it's all good. We had to ride our bikes to go pick up our car and it took us 4 hours to get there. One because our area is huge. Two because the wind was blowing so hard in our faces the whole time. So that was irritating. Three we may or may not have read the map wrong. But whatevs. We both were pretty patient we didn't even get upset. I was impressed with us. We were crazy tired, but we made it! Riding a bike in a skirt is...weird. But not horrible.
But yeah we had a great week. :) We're trying our hardest to find people to teach but for now we teach the members and find all of the lost sheep. :) Love you all!
